Bathroom Renovation Designs Ideas

DRIPPING CHANDELIER

Monique Lhuillier's bath in Bel Air showcases a custom-made light fixture by Foundry, white-oak cabinetry, and a photograph by George Hoyningen-Huene.

COPPER CHANDELIER

For a San Francisco family, designer Ken Fulk restored a faded 19th-century milestone, transforming it into a multifunctional 21st-century home without losing any of its period drama. The marble bathtub in the wife's toilet is by Urban Archaeology, the wallcovering is hand-painted, and the flooring is by Fox Marble.

CRYSTAL SCONCES AND SHALLOW CEILING LIGHT

The master bathroom sinks by Urban Archaeology have Dornbracht fittings in this glamorous West Village loft. The chair cushion is covered in a Holland & Sherry terry cloth, the ceiling lighting and sconces are 1960s Italian, and the floor is walnut.

UNDERSTATED CEILING LIGHT

Understated lighting appeals to the minimum aesthetic of the bathroom in a modern Washington, D.C. house made by Darryl Carter. The dressing table hides drawers for storage.
